Hello! and thank you for visiting my website. It’s very rewarding to see all the work I’ve created over the last fifteen years.
I'm proud of what I've accomplished and happy to share it with you. It's been a wild ride and the work below is what drives me.

VISA

Lead Design Role // Together our team built mood boards, created a solid look and feel, designed several
key frames and sketched out a detailed story board. I was responsible for all production work and animations.
Before working at Duarte I never thought a powerpoint presentation could look like this!

SAP

Lead Design Role // SAP was one of our anchor clients who usually requested their traditional basic template...
Don't get me wrong, their presentations were always clean and informative but this was a great opportunity to
push the brand and flex our abilities as presentation designers. I want more projects with this much creativity.

PWC

Lead Design Role // This is the first project I was given full creative responsibility for. I did my best to
elevate the design while staying on brand to create a cinematic experience that led the viewer through
a memorable and informative journey. Animations played a huge role in the success of this project.

MENLO VENTURES

Lead Design Role // This was a super hectic quick-turn project that I learned a ton from.
I know it looks like just another PowerPoint template… But I feel like this was the project
where my mindset switched from a designer/maker to an art director/problem solver.

EVENT SUPPORT

I love going on-site and seeing the show come to life. It’s a beautiful orchestration that can be both
stressful and magical… It is so gratifying to see the work you’ve created projected on the big screen.
I love to watch a speaker master their presentation and evoke an emotion from the audience.

NOTABLE WORK

After working in the presentation space for the last ten years it's very rewarding to see the span
of my work. Each project is very unique and tells a different story. I’m privileged to have been given
the opportunity to collaborate with such amazing thought leaders and story tellers.

When I was younger I wanted to be a cartoonist.

I feel like that childlike charm still shows through in my work.

LUCHA! A HISTORY

Lucha! The History of Mexican Wrestling is the first book I’ve designed, sewed and bound.
I’m a fourth generation Mexican American who speaks horrible Spanish. This was a great opportunity
to choose a subject that, although quirky, might actually teach me something about my heritage.

EXPERIMENTAL TYPOGRAPHY

Every 25 steps I stopped and took a photo, picked up a piece of trash and listened for a sound.
I then used those elements to build my spreads. I love working on the pacing of a book. I want the viewer
to be continuously surprised and engaged by the liveliness I bring to the pages I’ve designed.

KULETO ESTATES

Waterbar Pitchbook // Restaurant amenities, menu and history.

Farallon Pitchook // Restaurant amenities, menu and history.

A short-term freelance project turned long-term creating menus, email blasts, fliers, websites and
all printed materials for several four-star restaurants in San Francisco including: Waterbar, Epic Roasthouse,
Farallon and Zero Zero. You should definitely eat at one or all of these restaurants. Trust me!
